RIEGL VUX-12023

“NFB” (Nadir/Forward/Backward) Scanning UAV LiDAR Sensor

The RIEGL VUX-12023 is a lightweight, highly versatile airborne laser scanner designed for maximum precision and flexibility. Featuring a wide 100° field of view and an exceptionally high pulse repetition rate of up to 2.4 MHz, it delivers superior point density ideal for corridor mapping and other demanding aerial survey missions. The scanner’s measuring beam is emitted sequentially in three directions, nadir, +10° forward, and –10° backward, ensuring outstanding completeness of data capture, even in complex environments with vertical structures or narrow terrain features.

Equipped with 2 TB of internal storage and a removable CFast card, the VUX-12023 offers ample onboard capacity, along with interfaces for external IMU/GNSS integration and up to two optional cameras.

Thanks to its compact and efficient design, the VUX-12023 can be seamlessly integrated with UAS/UAV/RPAS platforms, light manned aircraft, or helicopters. It is available both as a stand-alone UAV LiDAR sensor and as part of fully integrated system configurations that include IMU/GNSS components and optional cameras, enabling a customized, ready-to-deploy solution tailored to diverse aerial mapping applications.
