RIEGL VUX-18024

UAV LiDAR Sensor for High-Speed Corridor Mapping

The RIEGL VUX-180²⁴ is a lightweight and highly adaptable airborne laser scanner designed for precision and performance. Featuring a 75° wide field of view, an ultra-high pulse repetition rate of up to 2.4 MHz, and an impressive scan speed of up to 800 lines per second, it is ideally suited for high-speed surveying missions and applications demanding optimal line and point distribution.

Leveraging RIEGL’s proven Waveform-LiDAR technology, the VUX-180²⁴ enables echo digitization and real-time waveform processing, with multi-target resolution that allows for reliable penetration through dense vegetation. It offers 2 TB of internal data storage and a removable CFast® card, along with interfaces for external IMU/GNSS integration and support for up to five optional external cameras.

Its refined, field-proven design, shared with the VUX-120, VUX-160, and VUX-240 series, ensures seamless integration with fast-flying UAVs, small aircraft, and helicopters. Available as a stand-alone LiDAR sensor or as part of fully integrated system configurations, the VUX-180²⁴ provides the flexibility, accuracy, and efficiency needed to meet a wide range of professional airborne mapping and surveying requirements.
